The proud owners of Bunker 19, who have been residents of Southend-on-Sea their entire lives. Growing up in this vibrant town, they've formed a deep connection to the area, particularly Alexandra Street and Market Place. 

You might even recognise them from their frequent visits to the beloved old Baker's Bar nightclub and Sun Rooms Club down Market Place in their youth!

With an unwavering belief in the untapped potential of good old Southend On Sea, Daniel and Toby envision Bunker 19 as the next go-to spot in Alexandra Street. Surrounded by a myriad of trendy independent businesses, including nightspots like Twelve Bar, Sunrooms 2, and Infinity, as well as bars such as Craftswerks, The Alex, and The Terrace Bar, they're thrilled to be part of a community of small business owners who are working together to make this area great again.

Daniel's passion for golf and coaching runs deep, having become a certified golf coach with the WGTF in 2004. His experience extends to Bulgaria, where he taught golf to children in schools.

Together with Toby, they ran Fun Size Golf, a kid's golf coaching company catering to schools in the local area. Their dream of establishing a kid's golf academy offering quality tuition is now becoming a reality as part of Bunker 19.

After visiting various indoor golf centres, Daniel and Toby recognised a need for something similar in Southend. They were convinced they could do it better. When they first laid eyes on the old Baker's Bar basement, they knew it was the perfect location for their vision. Despite the challenges ahead, they were determined to transform the space into their dream venue, understanding the "no pain, no gain" sentiment of having to make sacrifices to make this space a reality.

At Bunker 19, their goal is to cater to all levels of golfers, from serious enthusiasts to those looking for a social round. They're committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where everyone feels at home. Darts will also feature prominently at Bunker 19, with plans to establish a Bunker 19 darts team.

With a shared passion for quality beers and food, Daniel and Toby are excited to invite you to experience everything Bunker 19 has to offer. Pop in, say hello, and discover the warmth and camaraderie that defines Bunker 19.
